— Zambian President Edgar Lungu has directed his minister responsible for communications to work with China’s Huawei Technologies to protect the country’s cyberspace.
Lungu said like other countries in the world, Zambia wants to move with technology but that it has negative effects on society when it is abused hence the need to work with others to find solutions. (Zambia Daily Mail)
— Zambia’s human rights body has called for physical representation of persons with disabilities in governance structures.
The Human Rights Commission said there was need for physical representation of persons with disabilities in various national governance structures to give them a sense of belonging. (The Mast)
