WINDHOEK, Aug. 30 – Maltas Club Namibia held a three-day exam preparation workshop in Tsumkwe recently, supported by the FNB Holdings Foundation Trust. For the first time in the history of Tsumkwe Secondary School, 18 bright and diligent learners will sit for the Grade 12 examinations this year. Close to 150 young learners took part in this year’s workshop.
Dr. Wilfred Isak April, Founder of Maltas Club Namibia elaborates: “The aim of the workshop was threefold, namely to help the students with the curriculum content they find challenging (especially Mathematics). Secondly, to advise them on how to overcome exam stress by applying unique, yet SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely) learning techniques, and finally, to ensure that there will be a significant improvement in the final exam result this year compared to previous years.”
