WINDHOEK, Mar. 29 – On Saturday, 26 March 2022, like a scene from Frozen did the first 50 of 102 archers took their
places behind the waiting line. A cold, misty morning greeted each and every one who took part at the Annual Indongo Toyota Desert Festival at Walvis Bay Private High School.
As the day progressed and the arrows kept on flying a few 50’s were shot. One by our very own Marionette De Waal. Some new nervous archers are now totally hooked on archery. It was a festive atmosphere as all the spectators camped out on the grass. It was such a privilege to share our sport with the rugby, netball and hockey players.
The next competition and National Teams announcement will be on the 2nd of April 2022 at Elnatan
in Stampriet.
Afterwards it will be the NAPSO friendly in Tsumeb.
