WINDHOEK, Feb. 28 – Namprint has finally appointed a new boss after 7 months in the doldrums, with Mr. Isak Belmiro to head the organisation as from March 1 2018.
This comes after former boss Alec Boois left the company when the board did not renew his two term contract.
Belmiro has been instructed by the Board to ‘steer the ship with prudence’ and to be competitive in all aspects of the printing and security printing industry. Expectations on Belmiro’s shoulders include turning the company’s image around and making Namprint the preferred printing Company.
Chairman of the board Christian Maketo appealed to Namprint staff to embrace change, work for a common purpose and to increase the shareholders value.
Furthermore, Maketo warned staff to refrain from nepotism, chauvinism and incompetence, adding, “I expect you all to stay in your lane, do the work that you have applied for.
He added, “There’s only one General Manager as endorsed by the board and that’s Mr. Isak Belmiro.”
