Kavango West, Sept. 1 – After noticing a growing trend in road traffic violators in Kavango West Region, the Namibian Police have implored road users who are not complying with the directives of the Police or Magistrate Courts, to pay their admissions of guilt or to appear in court as directed.
“The Namibian Police is calling upon all affected motorists who have outstanding traffic fines to report themselves to any of the following and/or nearest Police stations in the Region such as Mururani, Ncaute, Kahenge and Nkurenkure Police Stations, as well as the Rundu Magistrate’s Courts to make their payments,” read a statement issued last Thurday.
Such payments should be made on or before 30 September 2021 and failure to do so will result in offenders being arrested.
Moreover, Nampol called for assistance from the business community in verifying whether there are any outstanding admission of guilt fines or warrants of arrest issued toward vehicles and drivers.
