Windhoek, Aug. 15 – Some Namibians have complained that for the past 20 years or so, the winners of the Miss Teen Namibia pageant have been white.
According to posts on social media, disgruntled Namibians, including parents of previous contestants who preferred to remain anonymous said it was unfair to the black girl child that they are sidelined yet they were also capable of holding the crown.
Contacted for comment, the Miss Teen officials whose numbers are on social media said they were no longer part of the pageant.
