Oshakati, 27 July- A 42 year old Namibian male by the name Jacob Gabriel from Elyambala- Ongwediva was found dead in his sleeping room on the 25 July 2023 around 23:49
According to Inspector Thomas Aiyambo it’s alleged that on 25 July 2023 in the morning the deceased woke up and he told his housemates that he is going to the hospital, but he didn’t tell them whether he was not feeling well or he was going to collect his TB medication since he is a TB patient.
Since the deceased left in the morning, he only came back home on the same Date at around 23h30 and he greeted his housemates before he proceeded to his sleeping room. After some few minutes one of the deceased’s mate went to his room with an aim to have chat with him but he got shocked to find the deceased laying on the bed quietly.
The police was notified and upon our arrival we noticed that Jacob Gabriel has passed on, the body was then taken and transported to Oshakati police mortuary without being tempered with.
The deceased was found with alot of tablets (different type) in his trouser’s pocket and his health passport indicates that he has visited Oshakati state hospital on 25 July 2023.- Namibia Daily News
