REHOBOTH, 24 MAY – Try Again Football Club are ready to topple Southern Stream First Division (SSFD) Inland Stream log leaders Young Brazilians in Karasburg on Saturday, team
coach Quintin Visagie says.
The two teams will go up against each other in Round 3 of the matches in what is a top of the table clash.
Speaking to Nampa on Wednesday, Visagie said the preparations for the game are on the right trajectory.
“We are working on a game plan and tactics to outsmart Young Brazilians. Our mental strength will play a key role during the tie and the players need to adapt to the gravel pitch quickly for us to implement our game plan,” he said.
He added that two of his key players are injured, but they have enough depth and quality to replace them.
“Our team spirit is high after we collected maximum points in the first two rounds and we are psychologically ready,” he said.
Try Again won their first two games against Windhoek United and Sport Klub Windhoek at home on Saturday and Sunday.
They are currently in second position along with Young Brazilians on six points and are only divided by goal difference.
On Saturday, second-placed Spoilers will lock horns with fifth-placed Flamingoes at the Nau-aib Stadium in Okahandja at 13h00.
Khomas Namibian Police (NamPol) will hope to get out of the relegation zone and get their season back on track against third-positioned PC Blue Boys from Swakopmund, after losing their two opening matches last weekend against Northern Stars and Western Spurs in Walvis Bay. The match will be played at Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek at 14h00.
On Sunday in Round 4, Spoilers will face PC Blue Boys at the Nau-aib Stadium at 12h00, while in Windhoek Khomas NamPol will confront Flamingoes at 12h00 at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.
