OSHAKATI, May 23 – Police in Ongwediva are investigating another rape, this time of a 49-year-old Namibian woman resident of Sky location who was allegedly raped on Sunday around 05h30 at Hanova new location in Ongwediva.
According to Oshana police spokesperson, Thomas Aiyambo, the suspect reportedly found the complainant on her way to work, took out a knife and instructed her to undress. The suspect also undressed and raped the woman by having sexual intercourse without her consent in the open space.
The suspect is unknown to the complainant and no arrest has been made. Preliminary investigations continue. – Namibia Daily News
