Walvis Bay, July 28 — Police in the Erongo region are appealing to members of the public to help in locating Ernest Izacks Strauss (36), who went missing on Wednesday morning at about 09h00, from Namib Street, Narraville, Walvis Bay.
According to the police report by Inspector Ileni Shapumba, Strauss allegedly walked away from home towards the Kuisebmond location after he was confronted by his brother about his absence from work the previous day and he was never seen again.
He worked for his brother selling fruits and vegetables in Walvis Bay.
Strauss is said to be fairly new to Walvis Bay, having only arrived in the town four months ago from Rehoboth.
He is 1.66 metres tall, with green eyes – and was last seen wearing a black pair of trousers, a black jersey with pink Nike tekkies.
Strauss allegedly does not own a cellphone and relatives in Rehoboth were contacted about his whereabouts but they claim to have not seen him.
