Windhoek, Oct. 3 – The National Green Hydrogen Roadshow, a collaborative initiative between the Government of the Republic of Namibia (GRN) and Hyphen Hydrogen Energy (Hyphen), regrets to announce the postponement of the Ohangwena, Omusati, Oshana, and Oshikoto Cluster meetings originally scheduled for October 2nd to 5th, 2023. These vital sessions were intended to cover Eenhana, Outapi, Oshakati, and Omuthiya, which play a pivotal role in our mission to engage communities and share insights regarding the Hyphen project and the Socio-Economic Development (SED) Framework.
Regrettably, due to unforeseen circumstances, this decision is necessary to ensure the participation of all key stakeholders. The entire roadshow schedule will be adjusted to accommodate this postponement. We are fully committed to rescheduling these cluster meetings at the earliest possible date to maintain the momentum of our initiative and continue to keep the nation informed.
The National Green Hydrogen Roadshow, which began in August and is set to conclude in November, has generated significant interest and participation from diverse communities and stakeholders across Namibia. The roadshow serves as a platform for the Government and Hyphen to engage with communities, showcasing the immense potential of green hydrogen energy and promoting sustainable socio-economic development in Namibia.
Hyphen will announce the revised dates and locations for the Ohangwena, Omusati, Oshana, and Oshikoto Cluster meetings as soon as they have been confirmed, along with the adjusted roadshow schedule. We extend our gratitude to all our partners, stakeholders, and the public for their understanding and continued support.
