OSHAKATI, July 14 – A 47-year-old Angolan who was identified as Gotlieb Shimoshili from Oshoonde village, Ondjiva, in Angola was found hanging at Oluhalu cattle post, Tsandi constituency, Omusati region at around 08h00 on Tuesday.
This was confirmed by Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho who said Shimoshili was found hanging from a tree this morning, a short distance from the cattle post where he was employed and living alone.
He was last seen alive on Tuesday morning at around 04h00 wandering around at the village headwoman’s homestead.
Efforts are being made to trace the next-of-kin as next of kin has not yet been found.
The deceased body has been transported to the Okahao Police mortuary for an autopsy.
Investigation into the matter is continuing.
