WINDHOEK, Feb. 22 – There are a few things in life that top the combination of world class boxing and music, and The Legacy fight, which is part of the MTC Nestor Sunshine Independence boxing bonanza will be no exception.
Namibia’s music sensation, One Blood popularly known for their hit song “Warakata,” will perform as part of the Music Bash right after the boxing that will take place at Ramatex.
Hitmaker’s The Destruction Boyz, from South Africa, popularly known for their hit song “Omunye” are also part of an exciting line-up which will celebrate a night of world class boxing.
Three boxers will hope to defend their WBO Africa titles: Namibia’s Walter “Executioner” Kautondokwa, Jeremiah “Low Key” Nakathila and Mike Shonena. Throughout the course of the night, a total of 14 under-card fights will exhibit their talent, including the likes of the talented Harry Simon Jr.
The Legacy Fight is scheduled for the 20th March at Ramatex, and it will honour the legacies of His Excellencies, The Presidents, Dr Sam Nujoma, Dr Hifikepunye Pohamba and Dr Hage Geingob.
Gates will open from as early as 15h00 and VIP tickets sell for N$500 while general tickets sell for N$50. – NDN Staffer
