WINDHOEK, Sept. 10 — The Capricorn Foundation has renewed its partnership with Imago Dei with a commitment of N$998,200 to manage vulnerability projects on its behalf under the 2025/26 fiscal year.
Imago Dei was founded 17 years ago as a coordinating Corporate Social Investment (CSI) organisation for corporate companies by investing in and supporting projects that aim to uplift communities across Namibia.
The Capricorn Foundation has been a long-term partner of Imago Dei since 2022 and has to date invested over N$3,5 million in the various projects that Imago Dei coordinates on behalf of the Capricorn Foundation under its Vulnerability Initiatives Focus Area.
With the renewed partnership, Imago Dei will continue and strengthen its support to the following 10 projects: Family of Hope Services, Hope for Life Foundation, Response Action Based Organisation, HappyLand Safe Haven, TASK, Grace Welfare Project, URC Mariental Soup Kitchen, New Harvest Time Ministries Soup Kitchen, Bet-El Church Soup Kitchen and Charmy’s Heart of Hope.
These initiatives aim to impact over 2,500 children and individuals through soup kitchens, sustainable gardens, gender-based violence campaigns, orphanages, and a safe space for babies.
I am proud to announce our renewed partnership with Imago Dei. This collaboration demonstrates our strong commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities across Namibia.
With this investment, we aim to make a meaningful difference by addressing urgent needs. Our long-term partnership with Imago Dei has already transformed many lives, and we look forward to continuing this important work together”, commented Veripura Muukua, Head of the Capricorn Foundation.
“Imago Dei would like to extend its deepest gratitude to the Capricorn Foundation for partnering with us once again to positively impact the lives of thousands of children and vulnerable people across the country.
Their generous contribution will not only enable us to financially support many community-based projects, which passionately serve their beneficiaries, but also help these projects grow and become even more impactful in their work”, said Millinda Coffee, General Manager at Imago Dei Welfare and Poverty Relief Program.
The Capricorn Foundation is a Section 21 Company and a registered welfare organisation in Namibia (W.O 499).
