WINDHOEK, 23 MAY – President Hage G. Geingob has appointed Acting Judges To The High Court of the Republic of Namibia, in terms of Article 32 (4)(a)(aa) of the Namibian Constitution, according to a Statement from the Presidency.
Upon recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission, Geingob appointed, Dr. Collins Parker and Mr. Epafroditus P. Unengu as Acting Judges of the High Court of Namibia, effective 1 June 2018 to 30 November 2018.
“President Geingob wishes the Acting Judges well in the execution of their duties,” read the Statement.
Collins Parker holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Ghana, LLM from Dalhousie University in Canada and Phd degree from Pacific Western University (United States) while he is also accredited by the FAArb (Southern Africa).
Collins previously served as Chief Legal Services and International Cooperation and Coordinator of the SADC Legal Sector and a Judge of the Industrial Court of the Kingdom of Swaziland, and served as an advocate in Zambia.
