WINDHOEK, 01 AUG – Black Africa Football Club team manager Salimi Shikulo passed away in Windhoek on Wednesday.
The club’s chairperson, Boni Paulino told Nampa Shikulo passed on at the Katutura State Hospital between 11h00 and 12h00.
“I spoke to her brother earlier today and he said he is speaking to family members with regards to funeral arrangements which will be announced soon,” he said.
Indications are that the late Shikulo will be buried in her home town of Otjiwarongo if everything goes according to plan, Paulino added.
He did not say what caused her death, but said she had been in and out of hospital for the better part of the last three months.
Paulino said Black Africa will meet on Thursday as a club to see how they can work with the family in laying her to rest.
The late Shikulo was with the club as team manager for the last five years.
