WINDHOEK, SEPT. 6 – FNB Namibia announced the two winners of the smart phones which the bank gave away at the recent Ongwediva Trade Fair. As part of the bank’s digital migration strategy, customers stood a chance of winning one of the two phones, simply by having an active personal online profile with a successful FNB App download.
A total of 103 personal online banking registrations with 112 FNB App downloads were recorded during the trade fair. The winners are Ivy Mwadinohamba and Mr Ndjoba.
To crown it all, FNB Namibia, who had once again been a proud supporter of the Ongwediva Trade Fair, also won the Best Exhibit: Banking Institution award at this event. Ndahambelela Ndoroma, Area and Sales Manager: Far North, spoke at the opening and expressed her delight with the award and the fact that FNB could assist FNB customers, SME’s and entrepreneurs on their way of becoming a success story.

“At the Trade Fair, our Far North cluster talked to customers and we proudly showcased a range of FNB savings and investment products. This year the focus was on shifting customers to digital platforms such as the Advanced ATMs, FNB APP, Cellphone Banking, Geo payments on the FNB App, and Online Banking, which are core to our value proposition,” said Ndoroma.
