WINDHOEK, Nov. 9-- Namibia will actively promote and participate in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and achieve common development, President Hage Geingob said here on Friday when he met with visiting Chinese Vice Premier Sun Chunlan. Geingob said that for a long time, the two sides have shared mutual trust, mutual respect and mutual support. The Namibian leaders pointed out that the all-weather friendly relationship has been deepened and promoted into a comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation, and the scope of cooperation has been expanding. China is an important development partner of Namibia and Namibia will actively promote and participate in the BRI, he said.
