Otjiwarongo, 22 March – Theo’s SuperSpar yesterday celebrated Namibia’s Independence in style.
During an interview Mr Stefan Ludik, the Senior Marketing Manager at Theo’s SuperSpar said: “Celebrating our independence reaffirms my pride and love for our beautiful country. It reminds me again of our rich history and sacrifice our forefathers made for this great country. It brings our people together as a nation, proudly celebrating Namibia.”
He added that Spar has a multipurpose centre for the poor and underprivileged where they feed 100 to 120 children three meals per day, and he emphasized that they not only feed them maize meal but also and healthy meals.
He further stated that the most important part is that they where able to create job opportunities at Theo’s SuperSpar and SaveMor were they have employed 298 locals, and he strongly believes that its of outmost importance that people have jobs and are able to provide for themselves.
He also emphasized that its a tradition at Theo’s SuperSpar to dress up in different attires and celebrate independence day every year, because it brings the locals and the employees together.
Mr Theo, who is the owner of Theo’s SuperSpar message to the country at large was ” We have now 29 years of Independence, which is almost a generation long where we had freedom and free economy and prosperity for everyone in this country. I also think that Namibia has a huge potential for investors to come and invest in this beautiful country so we can grow and we as a country can further prosper.
