KEETMANSHOOP, Aug. 28 — The NBC Kaisames FM action-packed sports event kicked off in Keetmanshoop on 25 August 2022.
The //Goa !haob festival that started in Outjo in 2018 became an annual festival on the Kaisames Fm calendar.
The entertainment festival is celebrated every year in a different town but due to COVID 19 it was put on hold for two nyears and resumed this year in Keetmanshoop.
“//Goa!haob is truly an established brand. Keetmanshoop rocks and if you’re not at the stage you don’t know life. The vibe is receptive, and the entrepreneurial spirit fires high tide, my people think out of the box.
“This event is a hybrid of Namibian cultures with Nama people also selling Oshivambo chicken. All the barriers were broken.
“May the fire keep the spirit and I travel next year wherever they go,” a business man Desmond Adreas said.
The //Kharas governor Aletha Fredrick was one of the VIPs at the opening of the cultural festival on 25 August 2022 where she also showed some of her Nama staap dance moves. The fulltime results of the soccer games of 26 August were:
