Iran’s total COVID-19 cases reach 101,650 with 6,418 deaths

   TEHRAN, May 6  -- Iran's death toll from the novel coronavirus pandemic has reached 6,418 after 78 more people died from the virus overnight, the spokesman for the health ministry announced on Wednesday.
   Kianush Jahanpur, head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, shared daily figures showing 1,680 new confirmed cases, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 101,650.
   According to the data, the number of recovered patients is 81,587, while 2,735 people are still in the intense condition in the hospitals.
   The number of administered lab tests across the country is 531,275 so far, said Jahanpur.
