Katima Mulilo, July 27 – The Africa Public Service Day, commemorated in Katima Mulilo, has been hailed as a resounding success. Secretary to the Cabinet, Dr. George Simataa, expressed his gratitude to the national preparatory committee, led by the Office of the Prime Minister in conjunction with the Zambezi Regional Council, for their meticulous planning and execution of the event.
During the commemoration, Dr. George Simataa urged civil servants to consistently deliver high-quality and effective services. He also reminded them not to develop a sense of complacency or superiority simply because they are part of the civil service.
