In a progress report on the Grootfotein Cr 68/07/2024 Armed Robbery, a 37-year-old Namibian male, and resident of Grootfotein has been apprehended in connection with the case.
Interestingly, this same suspect was also apprehended yesterday at an Otjiwarongo roadblock for a separate murder case committed in Tsumeb. It appears that this individual is linked to both the robbery at a farm near Grootfontein and the murder in Tsumeb.

Additionally, the driver who transported and dropped the suspects at the farm during the night of the armed robbery was also detained for further questioning.
The victim positively identified the recovered stolen properties.
As the investigation continues, four other suspects remain at large, but investigators are diligently following every piece of information to apprehend them.
