REHOBOTH, 14 MAY– Three men arrested in Rehoboth’s Block E on 20 April after being found in possession of mandrax and cannabis appeared in the Rehoboth Magistrate’s Court on Monday, where their case was postponed to 31 July this year.
Edison Uirab, Antony Uirab, and Cleamens Witbeen made their third appearance in front of Magistrate Desire Kamboua.
The Namibian Police Force in Rehoboth confiscated 15 full mandrax tablets, four half mandrax tablets, seven quarter mandrax tablets and 31 small parcels of cannabis from the three suspects.
They also had N$ 795 in cash in their possession.
Bail was denied to the three accused on their first appearance, however they were granted bail on 25 April after their private lawyer, Winnie Christiaans succeeded in convincing the State to grant bail to his clients.
The matter was postponed for laboratory results of the confiscated substances.
Public Prosecutor Leonard Mateus appeared for the State.
