JOHANNESBURG, Dec. 8– Two police officers died in a shooting incident on Monday in South Africa’s Limpopo Province, the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) reported.
According to the SABC report, a male officer fatally shot his female colleague during an argument at Nkowankowa police station and then turned the firearm on himself.
Both officers died at the scene.
Preliminary findings suggested the incident may have been linked to a domestic-related dispute, the SABC said, adding that an investigation has been underway to determine the cause. (Namibia Daily News/Xinhua)
