Windhoek, May 7-Not so long ago since the President announced relaxed measures and the end of national lockdown, the country has recorded yet another recovery in the cases of Coronavirus. According to the laboratory results from NIP, Case number 4 has fully recovered from the virus, Health Minister Kalumbi Shangula announced today.
Namibia now have 9 recovered cases out of 16 confirmed cases, leaving only 7 cases active. Namibia has so far conducted 1283 tests, with more than 300 people still in quarantine. Health Minister Kalumbi Shangula encouraged the public to wear their masks in public while still practicing other measures aimed at containing the virus such as social distancing and regular washing of hands.
