WINDHOEK, 31 JUL – The Ministry of Finance on Tuesday distanced itself from an account on the social networking website LinkedIn supposedly belonging to its Minister, Calle Schlettwein.
In a statement issued to Nampa on Tuesday, Esau Mbako, the Executive Assistant to Schlettwein, said the account, which offers individuals the opportunity to establish, finance or manage companies, is inauthentic.
“This LinkedIn account is fake. Honourable Schlettwein does not and never had any LinkedIn account,” he said.
He further warned members of the public to ignore the misleading account and not to provide any business or personal details to it.
