Windhoek. Oct.7 — Bank Windhoek is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Zenaune Kamberipa as Financial Director, effective 25 September 2026. Kamberipa joined Bank Windhoek as Chief Financial Officer in September 2020, bringing extensive experience in auditing and financial management in the financial services sector.
He started his career with Deloitte, initially in South Africa and later in Namibia. Before joining Bank Windhoek, Kamberipa served as Group Financial Manager at the FirstRand Group.
He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from Stellenbosch Business School. Bank Windhoek Board Chairperson Johan Swanepoel said the appointment marks an important step in further strengthening the Bank’s governance and strategic capability.
“Zenaune Kamberipa brings exceptional technical expertise, sound judgement and an invaluable understanding of both the banking sector and Bank Windhoek’s operation. On behalf of the Board and Executive Management, I congratulate him on this welldeserved appointment and thank him for his continued contribution to the Bank’s success,” Swanepoel said.
The appointment recognises Kamberipa’s significant contribution to Bank Windhoek and equips the Board with greater executive-level financial expertise, institutional knowledge and strategic insight as the Bank positions itself for sustained success.
