Windhoek, Aug. 22 — The Namibian Economic Freedom Fighters commissar Michael Amushelelo and Affirmative Repositioning movement activist Dimbulukeni Nauyoma have been released on N$5 000 bails each this morning.
The two activists were granted bail by judge Christie Liebenberg in the Windhoek High Court.
They were arrested after leading a protest at the China Town business complex in the Northern industrial area of the city in May this year.
The protests were sparked by NamRa’s announcement that the revenue authority had burned counterfeit goods worth N$5 million confiscated from Namibian importers.
