WINDHOEK, July 21 — Namibia Breweries (NBL), one of the largest beverage manufacturers in Namibia, has successfully future-proofed its business through digital transformation. The company partnered with CloudSmiths, Salesforce’s largest and most agile partner in Africa, to implement a cloud-based solution that has consolidated and streamlined its sales activities, expanded its online presence, and improved employee productivity.
As part of its digital transformation journey, NBL worked with CloudSmiths to develop a detailed roadmap that included the creation of a digital portal for customers to access a wider variety of products and promotions. The portal also provides support and a universal dashboard for sales representatives.
CloudSmiths’ in-depth knowledge of Salesforce and experience in building and implementing custom integrations across different businesses allowed it to design a bespoke solution that met NBL’s unique and complex needs. The solution, which includes Sales Cloud, B2B Commerce Cloud, and Aforza Consumer Goods Cloud, has helped NBL to improve its reporting, sales activity, and customer experience.
As a result of the digital transformation, NBL has seen a significant uptake of the digital platform among its clients, resulting in an increase in overall sales. The company has also been able to minimize costs to service while improving the customer experience.
