KEETMANSHOOP, 29 JUN – The man accused of stabbing his brother to death at Tses in the //Kharas Region last month, made his second court appearance in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
Medusalem Baisako, 30, appeared before Magistrate Melissa Mungunda, who postponed the case to 13 August for further police investigations and for the accused to obtain Legal Aid.
Baisako allegedly stabbed his brother, the 32-year-old Josef Baisako, in the neck after an argument over a cigarette.
During his first appearance, he was denied bail as police investigations were at an early stage and the State feared that he might interfere with the State witnesses.
Magistrate Mungunda advised the accused to post a formal bail application.
Baisako remains in custody at the police holding cells at Keetmanshoop until his next court appearance.
