Cape Town, July 12 – Namibia’s energy sector has seen rapid development in recent years, with three major oil and gas discoveries, the launch of a billion-dollar green hydrogen project, and renewed focus by global players. The upcoming African Energy Week (AEW) conference, taking place from October 16-20 in Cape Town, will provide a platform for discussion on the future of Namibia’s energy sector, with Hon. Tom Alweendo, Minister of Mines and Energy, delivering a keynote address.
Hon. Alweendo has been a key figure in the development of Namibia’s energy sector, and his participation at AEW will be an opportunity to discuss the country’s plans for the future.
