OSHAKATI, 23 May 2022 – Police at Ondangwa are investigating the theft of items worth N131 800 after a break-in at business premises in the town’s industrial area on Saturday.
In a police report Oshana police spokesman, Inspector Thomas Aiyambo, said the complainant, a 34-year-old Namibian male mechanic from Ondangwa, said unknown suspects broke into the workshop at Niikuwa Investment CC at about 01h00 on Saturday. They stole four welding machines, 200 x 3mm angle iron, a green compressor, and a money counting machine with a total value of N$131 800.
No items have been recovered or arrests made. Police continue to investigate. – Namibia Daily News
