WINDHOEK, Feb. 16 – FNB Walvis Bay recently donated uniforms and stationary to 25 learners from the Kids Haven Orphanage as part of their Back to School project. Revonia Kahivere, Manager CSI at FNB says: “Every year the FNB Foundation Trust gives each branch a yearly budget to invest in their communities thereby promoting the FNB Planet Strategy. We achieve our Planet strategy not only through internal practices and the FNB Foundation Trust, but also our Staff Volunteer Programme. Our staff choses the charity they wish to support in their community.”
Walvis Bay dedicated N$25 000 of their allocated budget to assist the children of the Kids Haven Orphanage throughout the year. A portion of this money was also used to buy vouchers to supply the orphanage with fresh bread every day. – NDN Staffer
