REHOBOTH, 25 MAY – Young Brazilians coach Tolla Julius said his team is prepared for their game against Try Again on Saturday.
The two Southern Stream First Division (SSFD) Inland Stream teams will clash in a round 3 match in Karasburg, with both teams on six points each after two games.
“The players are positive… We feel we need to pull away from Try Again and the only way to do that is by winning against them and try and win the other games also,” Julius said in an interview with Nampa Tuesday.
He said they have decided to capitalise on their home games and take three points at all costs, irrespective of who their opponents are.
“The players said we should always make use of our home support and collect as many points as possible. We know Try Again as a good ball-playing team and if we want to stop them, we have to neutralise their midfield players,” Julius said.
The player to watch out for at Young Brazilians is their playmaker Revered Matroos, who makes things happen in the middle of the park with defence splitting passes which the strikers can run onto.
He scored a goal against Sport Klub Windhoek (SKW) during their 2-1 victory last weekend.
In other third round matches in the Inland Stream on Saturday, pointless SKW and Ramblers will battle each other at 14h00 at the SKW Stadium, while at the Sam Nujoma Stadium, Windhoek United will fight for their first points of the campaign against Rebels at 16h00.
Rebels and Ramblers have only played one game each.
On Sunday in the fourth round matches, SKW will face Rebels at SKW Stadium and Windhoek United to go up against Ramblers. Both matches will start at 14h00.
