WINDHOEK, MAY 8 – Sub-Saharan Africa has more than two-thirds of all people living with HIV globally, with about 25 million people living with HIV. This translates to roughly one in every 36 people, while almost 90 per cent of people who test positive for HIV are on antiretroviral therapy (ART), according to www.mytherapyapp.com
MyTherapy strives to spread awareness about the wellbeing of people (especially those living with chronic diseases) and to motivate them to follow their treatment regimens by providing a free medication and health tracker app (available for free on both Android and iOS) to help patients, like HIV positive individuals, stick to their treatment plans in order to get the best out of their treatments. – NDN Staffer
