Rehoboth attempted murder case postponed to November

REHOBOTH, 04 OCT  – Four men accused of attempted murder for allegedly beating and stabbing a man here in April this year, appeared in the Rehoboth Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
Wilfred Africa, Daniel Mouton, Nelson Dausab and Debra Kondo appeared before Magistrate Andre Matulich and their case was postponed to 21 November for plea and trial.
The four accused are represented by State-funded lawyer Winnie Christiaans.
It is alleged that they assaulted a man with planks and stabbed him with a knife in Rehoboth’s Block G residential area on 16 April.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Windhoek Central Hospital for treatment.
Public Prosecutor Hilalia Zibiho Munzenze appeared for the State.
The accused are out on bail of N$2 000 each, which was extended until their next court appearance.
