WINDHOEK, FEB 4 – Police arrested 150 suspects in connection to a total of N$3 506 175 worth of drugs seized in January 2022. This, according to a police statement issued Thursday.
“The Namibian Police seized various types of drugs substance and arrested suspects as follows: Cannabis 334, 626 kg (N3 342 620; Mandrax 959 tablets (N$115 080); Cocaine powder 38.23 grams (N19 115); Crack cocaine 230 units (N$23 000); and MDMA 53 capsules (N$6 360)”
A total of 150 arrests were made, which involve 139 Namibians, two Angolans, three Congolese, two Russians and four Zambian nationals. – musa@namibiadailynews.info
