Omaruru, 25 July – A 43-year-old man from Omaruru was killed in a car accident along Omaruru- Etemba gravel road behind Hakahana location on Sunday evening.
Police inspector, Ileni Shapumba confirmed the accident in which an Opel Corsa Reg N7107T with three occupants including the driver was travelling west on Etemba gravel road (behind Hakaseb location) when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.
Inspector Shapumba said the driver died at the scene.
The deceased’s two-year-old daughter and a 29-year-old Omaruru resident who were passengers sustained severe injuries and were taken to Omaruru State hospital for treatment.
The deceased’s body was taken to Omaruru State hospital mortuary.
His next of kin has been informed of his death.
Police investigations are continuing.
