OSHAKATI, June 9 – Ondangwa police are investigating the theft of a gambling machine worth N$75 000 from Kutu-bar in Omashaka gakamanya, Ondangwa on Wednesday between 00h00 and 07h00.
Police spokesperson Inspector Thomas Aiyambo said an unknown suspect broke into Kutu-bar through the window and stole a Bergmann Germany jackpot machine, black in colour with a green screen, and also took N$960 in cash.
The theft was reported by a 29-year-old woman who owned the stolen items and lived in the area.
No arrest has been made yet nor items recovered.
The police are continuing to investigate. – Namibia Daily News
