Oshakati, Aug. 30 — Police in the Omusati region are investigating a case of violating of grave and corpse after Tuyeni Reinhold, (25 years) from Eengolo village dug up his late father’s grave and burned his skull to ashes on Tuesday at around 15h00 at Eengolo cemetery, Eengolo village in Outapi constituency.
According to Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, the suspect who is a biological son of the deceased allegedly destroyed his father’s grave, removed the skull, and burned it to ashes.
No motive for the behaviour could be established and the suspect has been arrested.
