REHOBOTH, 27 JUL – A 39-year old Namibian man died on the spot after being stabbed in the chest and back at the Sonderwater informal settlement in Rehoboth.
The Namibian Police Force’s crime investigations coordinator for the Hardap Region, Deputy Commissioner Eric Clay told Nampa the incident was reported around 01h30 on Friday at the Rehoboth Police Station.
He said an unknown man stabbed the deceased.
“The suspect, who is unknown at this stage, ran away from the scene after stabbing the deceased and is not yet apprehended,” said Clay.
The name of the deceased cannot be revealed as his next of kin are yet to be informed about his death.
Meanwhile, police investigations continue.
