Windhoek; June 20 – According to IJG Namibia’s figures on 2023 auto sales, both the passenger and commercial vehicle categories have had positive year-over-year growth for 10 straight months, with the impact of increasing financing rates on demand being relatively insignificant.
Bank Windhoek’s Vehicle and Asset Finance (VAF) Branch, in cooperation with Pupkewitz Haval, recently staged a little outdoor motor show in Windhoek to further aid the motoring industry’s drive to get automobiles to customers. Riaan Gouws, VAF’s Manager of Corporate and Commercial Business, stated that the program sought to raise awareness and improve ties with the Pupkewitz Haval brand by bringing services out of the showrooms and into the outdoors for clients.
“This is an icebreaker, and we will continue to do this with other automobile dealerships in order to come up with better deals with the customer in mind in this difficult economy,” Gouws added. Winnie Iipinge, a Bank Windhoek staff member and Haval Jolion owner praised the idea because she is upgrading from a Jolion. She thought it was fantastic that the product was brought to their offices for presentation.
Pupkewitz Haval thanked Bank Windhoek for its support and urged the institution to maintain its successful alliances, top-notch clientele, and quick auto purchase turnaround times. Gouws stated that these outdoor vehicle dealership presentations will continue. ~Namibia Daily News
