KEETMANSHOOP, 08 OCT – The body of a 32-year-old woman, who was allegedly raped and murdered, was found at Aussenkehr in the //Kharas Region on Saturday.
Namibian Police Force (NamPol) //Kharas crime investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Chrispin Mubebo told Nampa on Monday that the lifeless half-naked body of Patrisia Madyumo was found lying at Block 5 of the grape farm in the early morning hours of Saturday.
“The deceased was found only wearing clothing on her upper body and naked on the lower part. It is suspected that the deceased was hit on the head with an unknown object and raped at an unknown time,” he said.
Mubebo said no suspect has been arrested at this stage and NamPol is requesting the public to assist with information that could lead to the apprehension of the suspect.
The next of kin of the deceased have been informed and police investigations continue.
