KATIMA MULILO, 23 May 2022 – The Zambezi Volleyball Association (ZVA) has kicked off its school development programme at the Ngweze Primary School at Katima Mulilo. The programme is aimed at teaching basic volleyball skills and promoting awareness of the sport among the school-going population in the region.
ZVA made a pledge to advocate for the sport to be recognised within the school and the training will run for the whole year. From there they will do an evaluation to determine potential players, said Matiti Sunnyboy, marketing director for the ZVA.
They have been approaching the local business community and the Ministry of Youth and Sport to be the primary sponsor. – Namibia Daily News
