KATIMA MULILO, 31 March 2018 – The Kavango East netball team beat Ohangwena 27-22 in a tight encounter of The Namibian Newspaper Cup on Saturday.
Kavango East dominated play from the second quarter of the game, with Ohangwena being no match for the Kavango East girls.
However, Ohangwena started to come to the party in the third quarter as they tried to close the gap and became desperate to capitalise but it was too late, leaving Kavango East to take the win.
Ohangwena’s Erika David was voted Player of the Match.
