WINDHOEK, JAN 31 – Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) leader McHenry Venaani will lead a SADC Pan African Parliament delegation to Addis Ababa from January 30 to February 4.
“The Honourable Venaani leads a SADC Pan African Parliament delegation to the African Union in order to lobby Foreign Affairs Ministers, Heads of States and Governments on the principle of rotational leadership of that institution,” read a statement issued by PDM Presidential Spokesperson Roberto Dirkse on Sunday.
Venaani is expected to meet with various Head of States, including the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Chairperson of the African Union, His Excellency Felix Tshisekedi.
He is expected to return back to Namibia on Friday, 4 February 2022, to join the funeral of his late predecessor, the Honourable Katuutire Kaura. – musa@namibiadailynews.info
