KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 10 — Malaysia’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday condemned the recent calls by officials of the Israeli government for the forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
It also opposes the “brutal and systematic violence” against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, the ministry said in a statement.
“Malaysia categorically rejects any attempt to forcibly displace or resettle Palestinians from their homeland,” it said, noting that the killing, intimidation, destruction of property and forced displacement of Palestinians by Israeli settlers are abhorrent acts that constitute serious violations of international law and international humanitarian law.
