Monday, 16 August an International University of Management (IUM), Ongwediva Campus student committed suicide by hanging at Oshikuku.
According to Omusati Crime Investigation Coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, Florianus Shipepe Nandyaa committed suicide after failing an examination.
He said Nandyaa was stressed about failing subjects at the university. Committing suicide for such reason is a common thing amongst students.
The deceased’s family has been informed about his death.
