Windhoek, 14 Apr Khomas Netball Region held trials today to prepare for the upcoming Namibia National Youth Games. 16 players where selected out of the 24 who came for trials. Invitations were sent out to all high school in khomas region. ”We are confident that Khomas region has a good team to compete at the games.” Said the Chairperson of Khomas Netball Region Melody Mogane-Tiboth. The National Youth Games are an initiative of the Namibia Sports Commission aimed at improving and maximizing the performance of aspiring Namibian young athletes. The Below listed names are the players chosen to represent Khomas Netball at the upcoming National Youth Games:
Meriam Tjiurutue, Venomuinjo Kahuure, Juandre Nell, Jacolene Brand, Corene Brand, Bertha Hamukwaya, Uendjisuvera Kangumine
Zante Farmer, Annette van Staden, Urikombanda Katjatenja, Tjeripo Kambirongo, Shawna Pieterse,Monica Gomases, Halle Pack, Geena-lee Faul, Veno-lora !Ganes.
The National Youth Games will be held in Windhoek from the 10-13 of May 2018.
